The Concept

Perched above the rolling hills of Alto de Las Palmas, The Hills is a contemporary residence conceived as a seamless extension of the landscape. Defined by clean horizontal lines, floating architectural planes and uninterrupted panoramic views, the project embraces the natural topography while expressing a timeless language of restraint, proportion and light.

A bold cantilever anchors the composition, allowing the residence to project confidently over the hillside while preserving an exceptional visual connection with the surrounding mountains. The architecture appears to float effortlessly above the terrain, creating a sense of lightness that contrasts with the solidity of its sculptural concrete volumes.

Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing every living space to remain permanently connected to the landscape. Throughout the day, natural light transforms the minimalist interiors, emphasizing material textures, generous proportions and carefully framed perspectives toward the valley below.

An infinity-edge pool extends beyond the main terrace as a reflecting plane suspended above the mountains, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture, sky and horizon. Every element has been designed to enhance the experience of openness, silence and contemplation without competing with the natural beauty of the site.

The Hills is an exploration of contemporary hillside architecture where structural precision, minimalist elegance and landscape coexist in perfect balance.
