The Concept

Arbórea represents the master vision of a high-luxury residential development conceived as a contemporary sanctuary where architecture merges organically with the forest. Beyond individual residences, Arbórea is a complete urban design: a master plan that redefines the experience of living in nature through a harmonic composition of lots, circulation, common spaces, and preserved vegetation.

Each plot is integrated into the forest fabric through winding roads, wooden and stone paths, water mirrors, and viewpoints that follow the natural topography. The homes —with pure volumes of warm wood, dark accents, and large glazed surfaces— maintain a unified aesthetic but allow personalization within a rigorous and elegant Architectural Manual created by the studio. This manual guarantees visual coherence, sustainability, and premium quality throughout the development, preserving low density and total immersion in the landscape.

Geometry and Landscape: The master plan follows organic patterns inspired by the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratios, generating a layout that seems to sprout from the ground. Lakes, meadows, and paths create visual axes and experiential journeys. The light —filtered by the forest canopy— and the framed views transform each lot into a private retreat with a sense of infinite exclusivity.

Inspiration and References: Urbanism and Landscaping: Evokes the holistic approach of developments like The Lakes (Singapore) or projects in Omaha Beach (New Zealand), where the subdivision is designed as an extension of the ecosystem. Architecture of the dwellings: Warm minimalism with influences from Peter Zumthor (honest and sensory materiality) and Glenn Murcutt (climatic and contextual response), reinterpreted in a contemporary forest key. Also dialogues with the modern Scandinavian refinement of firms like Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter or Snøhetta, where architecture disappears into nature without losing its sculptural presence. Global concept: Similar to gated luxury communities like El Dorado or Baker's Bay, but with a unique artistic and geometric sensitivity that prioritizes sensory immersion and sustainability.

Dweller's Experience: Arbórea is not just a group of houses in the forest: it is a residential ecosystem designed for contemplation and well-being. Sunrise walks in the mist, terraces floating over the vegetation, and residences capturing the golden light of sunset create a lifestyle of quiet luxury, deep connection with nature, and timeless exclusivity.

The entire concept —from the urban master plan to the Architectural Manual— was designed holistically by Christian Maury and Mauryarte, ensuring that every detail contributes to a coherent narrative of harmony, elegance, and permanence.
